Action can lead to mass death and impoverishment and so can inaction. Being anti-establishment for the sake of being anti-establishment is an intellectually weak stance. Bernie Sanders is anti-establishment and I think we can agree that his policies would be SIGNIFICANTLY worse. The crux of my argument is that many competing points of view can exist and most are based on facts. This woman is simply a demagogue. If that's what floats your boat, then more power to you.
I'm not worried about this woman and I don't think there's much spin on what she's said. Maybe you can find an example of that for me. She's simply in a position of power now as an elected official and that comes with higher scrutiny. She WANTED more media attention through her antics and now people are wondering what she said in the past. Turns out she's said some pretty crazy shit. I really wouldn't classify that as a smear campaign...
I'm not antiestablishment for the sake of being anti-establishment, and neither is greene.
I'm against the establishment because of their authoritarian and devastating policies etc.
Posting a comment of her flaming warmonger Bill Kristol doesn't mean I vouch for anything and everything she has said.
I like what she said in this instance.
Of course bad actors like Thor want to pretend the opposite is true.
The assertion that the media coverage is based on honest curiosity of what she has said in the past is about as naive as it gets.
You have evidently bought the narrative and think of her only as some unhinged crazy person instead of looking into her actual views and not characterizing her based on a couple of incidents or old facebook posts.
This is indicative of the success of hit-pieces and smear campaigns.

Recently there was a lot of news coverage of (D) Rep. Cori Bush claiming MTG was harassing and berating her in the hallway and "targeting" her. She needed to move offices for her 'safety'.
She then called to expel some GOP members from congress.
Glowing media coverage for Bush and condemnation of Greene.
The intended takeaway of the widespread coverage was
Wow look how crazy and unhinged MTG is, she needs to be removed from congress! and using the incident to negatively effect people's view of the GOP.
It turns out Greene was recording at the time (minding her own business and denouncing violence at the capitol, of all things) and Bush was the one shouting and created the altercation.
I dont need to tell you whether or not Greene had supportive interviews on NBC and CNN to clear that up. You already know she didn't. The MSM is batting for a different team.
Instead NBC claimed without evidence that Greene called for violence against Nancy Pelosi and other top democrats.
CNN reported on the video by deceptively clipping it short and blaming Greene's 'antics', then repeating Bush's claims that she was moving for her safety
