They cannot crank out all that much unless they nuke the filibuster once and for all - and it's really doubtful that folks like Manchin/Sinema/Kelly or even Warnock might be willing to go for that. (Keep in mind that Warnock and Kelly are up for reelection again in 2022!)

lol yes they will, Democrats almost never pull a Romney unless its a gimme (like Manchin approving a SC justice in exchange for some doofus abstaining from voting) because the (D) mafia woulda cast them out forever

e: Warnock abused his wife and tried to run over her foot with a luxury car and is about to win lmao.

It's already over 80/20 D favored in betting markets.

Eh betting markets oddly arent very good at elections. Predicting these elections while you've got pre-voting this high and having it hard to determine what is remaining is reeeeally hard. I was a lobbyist on the hill for a while and during the 2010 and 2012 elections. This is just a very different environment.

Republican lead is too small to compensate the incoming late "blue shift" ballots. I guess, very much.

I dont think they'd go for a blanket filibuster nuke. Imho, they would only remove it for some specific votes, with which they then try to rig the system in their favor (DC + PR statehood, pack the supreme court). I just dont see the party of sleepy Joe and clumsy Nancy being quite as ruthless to go for a full-throttled, unapologetic power grab right out of the gate.

Obamas and Bushes are good couples. Clintons seem like a political marriage.
