You guys mischaracterize it and attack the mischaracterization. Cities with this model still have cops with guns dummy.

Also people join the police to help their community but they're never shown how or given the tools to do so. They need social work in their departments.

Scratch that, "Trust neither what we say or do, we actually mean something else entirely."

The police chief wants to incorporate these things, and has been adamant that funding is needed to do it. Cutting police budgets is the last thing anyone should want to do.

I said early on increase policing budgets, increase pay for police officers, give them more resources to be safe.

How can they hire anyone who knows anything without increased budget? A good social worker costs 2-2.5 cops depending on salary.
