Completely wrong. There is intense pressure from the left of the Democratic party to take actions like court packing in order to get a bold progressive agenda passed.

Adding additional states out of partisan motives, states which would provide safe Democratic seats in the Senate. Prime example: DC statehood. Other examples: granting statehood to Puerto Rico, American Samoa, splitting California into 2-3 states. (We've even had a dedicated thread about this here on PaRD.)




How in the world is amnesty supposed to solve the problem with ongoing illegal immigration? How is it supposed to solve the issue that legal immigration is strongly skewed toward family reunification over merit-based labor market immigration? How is it supposed to solve the abuse of H-1B visas to undercut domestic wages in fields where there is no real shortage of workers?



Delusional ramblings. For the record: jointly, the militaries of France, Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain and the NL are significantly stronger than that of Russia. France and the UK got nukes of their own. The Russians waltzing into Western Europe with their tanks is no longer a realistic concern since the end of the Cold War.

No way. They have conventional arms that would make you blush and the Cold War never ended really. You act like Chechnya, South Ossetia/Georgia, Eastern Ukraine, etc, aren't the same as Poland, East GE Latvia/Lithuania/Estonia/Etc.
