Hard to combat complete points, as opposed to tiny character-limited tweets?

You know there are other mediums than a political debate forum to troll in. If lots of words bother you, those other mediums might be better suited. Or maybe the political picture thread. Or just go play some Diablo 2. Something more suited to your weak attention span.

If you don't want to read what I have to say, don't. No need to inform the world about it. You don't really matter enough that we care to know your every moment's decision. This isn't a twitter status update. Maybe try blogs feature, if that's your thing?

If your goal is to communicate effectively you need to know your audience. You aren't writing a novel, or a 500 page long book, you are posting to largely anonymous users on an internet forum. Nobody, even if they agree with you, is going to read your rambling walls of text to pick out the one or two points you've made.

If you're fine typing walls of text for nobody then by all means, continue.

You make a lot of assumptions. But rather than go into lengthy explanations you lack the attention span to read, I'm just going to point to the view count and post count of the average thread and tell you, "You have no fucking idea who's reading, and what they're paying attention to."

So I was looking, and it appears that slightly over half of these armchair reddit socialists support bringing about their ideals via revolution. Somewhere around 52%. That's really interesting.

I'm curious how many of that 52% support gun rights vs gun control? Any thoughts Thor? I suspect this'd be your area of expertise. Typically socialists are against it, but I dunno.
