Look, I understand that you typically side with right wing intellectualism and I'm in the same boat as you. However, the Republican party has rejected almost all the conservative intellectuals. The ones they haven't rejected tend to be quiet and will say something along the lines of, "oh well I don't defend everything Trump does but I will absolutely side with him when he's right."
