The choice is clearly to vote for another option, as none of these 3 seems promising.

Jacob Hornberger is pretty good too, but i'll be supporting Amash if he gets the nomination.

Biden should drop out.

Picture 1:

Home Owner: "hi welcome to my home you voluntarily came to with my permission. would you like to buy my home"

Home Buyer: "yes, I think I would. what all is included?"

Home Owner: "well its a 3 bedroom on 1 acre, 2 baths and a 2 car garage for $150,000"

Home Buyer: "I think i'd like to pay 135k, and id like that pool table to stay here"

Home Owner: "that isn't acceptable, I can do 152k with the pool table"

Home Buyer: "well I cant afford that, but you're legally allowed to turn down my offer I guess. not sure what ill do now I don't have anywhere else to live."

Home Owner: "well u could live anywhere else, or be homeless, or rent somewhere, or buy a house that's cheaper, or live in that car you drove here in, or make the choice to commit a crime and turn yourself in and the state will put you in a jail, or even apply for free housing that the state offers."

Home Buyer: "well what are my payment options?"

Home Owner: "you can pay me cash, you can get a loan with no money down, you can get a better loan with more money down, or you can apply for special govt programs to help buy a house. you can even negotiate your rate with the bank, you can get a fixed rate or an adjustable one."

Picture 2:

IRS Agent: "Please come to the door, I will call police to come inside and drag you out if not because you owe taxes."

Home Owner: "well what is all included in my taxes as benefits?"

IRS Agent: "don't worry about that, here's the bill."

Home Owner: "well what options do I have? can I pay less or spread it out over a few years?"

IRS Agent: "no, we need all of the money now or you'll be jailed and your property will be seized to sell off to pay your debt"

Home Owner: "are there any govt programs to help me pay for this debt?"

IRS Agent: "ummm like jail, but no not really."

You knew about property tax when you bought the property.

You're moving the goalposts it comes to taxes (I have no choice) compared to home ownership (you knew the terms when you bought the home or signed the lease agreement). Well, sorry, but you knew about property tax when you bought the home and still voluntarily bought the home, and you knew taxes would be taken out if you made too much money and yet you still decided to do so.

Sorry you're not able to be consistent, but like you say, everybody has their logical blind spots.

I could also bring up that you can shop for different countries, counties, states, and cities all with their own rates.

Honestly at this point its tedius because youre being lazy. You're not actually thinking things through to their conclusion and I'm tired of spelling it out for you.

I don't expect you to understand single digit math on my 12th try, but you have choices not to rent, you can live with someone for free, own and then pay no rent, or negotiate to pay less rent. you don't have a choice not to pay taxes, you may have a choice not to pay income tax, but not directly, you have to choose not to work in order not to pay taxes on an income you didn't earn. I understand why you don't think these are consistent, because 1 and 2 are different numbers.

at the very best you're making a case that the world is full of coercive forces that remove consent from a great number of aspect of our lives, universally propped up by the govt. basically something every libertarian would tell you from the get go. at the worst tho you've just stuck with the same example for 12 posts while implying you could make a great number of examples, all of which involve govt force that libertarians also disagree with because it involves a lack of freedom of choice.

rent can exist without the govt enforcing it, you could pay to protect your property, just like any gated community. taxes are only a function of the state.

for some people simple math is quite hard I guess. choosing not to do something is somehow the same as choosing not to do something in order to avoid a second thing.

You can live with someone for free, not work, and not pay taxes.

You are applying different standards arbitrarily. You accept that I have a choice to be homeless but not that you have a choice not to work. Youre moving the goalposts to make convenient conclusions.
