As a Belgian I don't really get a choice. I will retire at 65-67, unless the laws still change by then.
Since the average person is getting older and older, I'm quite skeptical about how good my pension will be. So the plan is to save up enough and invest into a private pension plan. So far so good.

Will be 'working' until I die, plan to do engineering consulting later in life and manage passive income streams. If I'm 100% working for myself, then I consider myself 'retired' although continue to work.

Keep saving up $$ while living in my THOW. Buy raw land debt-free once market corrects, build house myself with friends/family as I get cash.
Finish crypto scalping trading robot ~1% gains each day alt->btc
Keep maxing out 401k contribution until no longer eligible to contribute.
Build out solid dividend investment portfolio.
Once 'home base' is built up enough, upgrade from shitty 27' sailboat to 40~ blue water cruiser boat, get on Musk's starlink, AirBNB THOW and House. Sail between Caribbean and med.

No, the greatest generation did all that, boomers pissed it up the wall.
My country becomes less free by the day under boomer leadership.
Define "losers like you" for me, because i want to know what metric we are using here.
Willing to bet i beat you in pretty much any metric you can come up with from intelligence, wealth, woodcraft, fishing skills, ability to code a car wash or fire panel, skill at racing slot cars, unarmed combat ability, understanding of moon and tide phases.. pretty much anything you can come up with other than looking like a bitter ex on a web forum.
