Well, it depends on your definition of a loss. Casualty numbers are:

58,193 : American casualties.

Vs. 1.1 million North Vietnamese soldiers casualties + 250,000 South Vietnamese soldier casualties.

I really wouldn't call that a victory for Vietnam.

The world can handle 20-1 casualties.

It would be a far higher count. Think if the United States utilized their advanced weapon technologies versus the technology used in Vietnam, which a lot of countries still probably haven't amassed more technology than what was used at that time.

I'm not saying the United States would win an all out war.
I think the entire globe would be destroyed if they were involved however with the other super powers.

So no, I don't think the world could handle it. Any survivors would be such a small fragment of what was left, the rest would just be complete chaos or existing because they were deemed a lesser threat.

Me and my wife just came back from Vietnam two weeks ago. I mean, their fighting spirit is amayzing and all but when you take a look at the VC traps and tunnels.. that’s not how you win a war..
