only like 18" snow, so not terrible. it's all powdery. but -40 degree F wind chills all day for 2 days. had to move my chickens to the garage.

It almost feels like instant sun burn on exposed skin. You can get frost bite in under 5 minutes without proper outdoor gear. Yesterday, it took me longer to get dressed to go outside than it did to walk down my driveway to get my mail. I went out at the coldest point in the day for us (9 AM yesterday - oddly enough) just for the experience. The air was so dry and cold it gave my lungs a burning feeling. My actual "high temp" yesterday was -20 i think - wind chills 40-50*.

The craziest thing is i'm looking at a high of 48 and rain on Sunday.

Damn, sounds crazy. At least you can get some free cryotherapy
In here a liquid nitrogen 2 minutes session costs like 40 euros. But its somewhere -190 celsius iirc. Frost bite at the door

Yeah, when air gets that cold, deep breathing can cause alveolar sacs to freeze inside your lungs, which is painful.

Yeah i called into work yesterday. not worth it to even leave the house. came into work today, still -25 F outside....

Tuesday = 12" of snow
Wednesday = -40 windchill
Thursday = -20 to -30 windchill
Friday = +10-20 degrees (normal)
saturday = +30 degrees
Sunday = +40 degrees

fucking insane week....
