So I have the right to whip my dick out in front of little girls and piss in the women's room? Maybe that's not necessarily a good thing.

Your girlfriend/wife or sister/mother might not be able to have an abortion even though that's a Constitutionally-protected right, simply because you live in west Texas and that's in the 5th CCA's jurisdiction, and Texas' politicians think that you just shouldn't be entitled to the rights that everyone else are entitled to, because reasons. Or maybe you get fired for being gay, and because you live in Tennessee you're under the 6th CCA's jurisdiction and you get a shitty panel draw at the CCA level so your company is able to get away with it. Maybe your mechanic in Louisiana won't fix your car because he has "a religious objection" to your lifestyle.

These people, and I don't like to treat them all as one bloc of religious voters or actors because they're not, have created a different, lesser standard of justice in parts of this country. They've gotten like-minded electeds in office and those electeds then do everything they can to force those backwards-thinking views on the rest of us, even as the rest of the country is surging forward in trying to find equality.

The women I associate with aren't so morally depraved that they would get an abortion.

I suppose you can compare those districts with the sanctuary cities who don't enforce immigration policy. Yes, some Texas women are cursed with the responsibility of not killing their child... what a travesty. I'm sure Kate Steinle would of preferred that as opposed to dying of a gunshot wound from an illegal immigrant who had been deported multiple times. Local districts put in place lawful restrictions where they can.

They are to some extent, but liberals tend to get way too dramatic about it. Gay marriage is settled. Done. Over. If the question of where trannies piss is a huge issue for you... you're sort of on the other side of the ridiculous coin. Whether the law is there or not, it's a bullshit side issue that doesn't actually affect people.

You shouldn't give up on the fight against gay marriage or homosexual relations. You're fighting the good fight, man. But you've got the moral courage to do it.

If you're going to be disingenuous at least be clever about it.

How is that disingenuous? From a Christian perspective, there is definitely an argument to be made to condemn homosexual relationships, or at least advocate for a society that does not openly tolerate it.

That's my interpretation of the Bible, at least. I know a lot of modern Christians are okay with gay marriage. It doesn't make much sense to me, but maybe I just haven't heard a good explanation yet.

So shall I wage a political war against divorce, or sex before marriage, or drug use, or theft, or selfishness, or what? Christian's fight when there is a fight to be had. The issues are decided for the foreseeable future.

Sodomy laws were ridiculous but preserving the real definition of marriage was a worthwhile pursuit. Making abortion illegal was a worthwhile pursuit. There's plenty of immoral things that people do which should be legal... bullshit marriages and abortion are not among them.

There is no "real" definition of marriage. It's just a word.
