They're dangerous, but they are a minority so not to a great extent. While they are willing to bend the rules to suit their agenda, if signs of a totalitarian religious government appeared I don't think many would be in favour. They are wise enough to know that a society with freedom of expression and religion is the best system, whereas extremist Muslims have no concept of what that is to begin with.
Most of it just boils down to them being annoying, wanting us to tolerate their intolerance. As long as they don't legislate to impose their religious dogma on other people's rights, I don't really care.
As long as they don't vote to legislate... or disseminate their insidious bigotry throughout the population by covert means.... or make up most of the government. So yea... In an alternate dimension where they were just crazy people who stood on street corners ranting and raving you would have nothing to care about... but in this dimension where they are presidents, judges, lawmakers and most of parliament including 26 fucking bishops there is a lot to care about.
