You answered the questions, and Vahalls, but that's it. Most "dodged and dismissed" in the words of Scaly.

Widow thinks I am angry because I asked 3 questions.

He is a Christian. He knows the Bible, right? Where is the malice in asking those three, legitimate questions? I even linked to the exact scripture in question.

Well you do appear as though you start from a viewpoint which you're hell-bent on proving(maybe to yourself first and foremost?).

When?

I see no reasonable answer so far. The only answer given that is remotely acceptable is that they recorded events from different vantage points... and yet that doesn't explain away the discrepancies. It doesn't matter what angle you're viewing Christ from as he dies on the cross - what he says immediately before dying doesn't change depending on where you view him from.

#3 was just posted above.

It's religion, there aren't going to be answers like the ones he's looking for.

Also the only place to find answers is in the book itself. Which is were he got the questions in the first place.

How's about you stay on topic and discuss the OP instead of assuming his imotivations.

For Widow especially I thought this would be an excellent chance for you to do some of the bible classes you seem to love posting in an actually appropriate place.

One - I rarely report anything. Didn't report your last preachy thread.

Two - It's about context. If you make a thread purely to preach then that is unacceptable and against the rules of the forum. If you reply to an open discussion with your opinion on the matter then that's different.
Hence why I said 'in an appropriate place'.

If you want to make a thread on this topic then it's about how you phrase the OP. If you say 'This is what happened - blablabla' you aren't inviting discussion. You're just preaching.

You should know this shit by now Dickybird.

No, I was addressing you, specifically because you called me angry.

I'm angry for asking you three legitimate questions about the Bible?

Read the OP again. Where is the anger?

Thank you for answering three simple questions and for abiding by the simple requests of the topic. /s

...it is my opinion that you carry a great deal of anger against God and Christianity . The why is your business but over the past week it has been more than obvious .
