How can you experience love but fail to understand what other people see it as?
Love is objectively good. Same for compassion.
Maybe this would be a better view as to how I see it - I love
things about people, others claim to love the
person.I doubt I make any sense, but it just confuses me what people mean when they talk about loving another.
I find the beliefs, thoughts, and personality traits of a person to be what I love, but it seems many others have a sort of idea on love that values a person as an object. If that makes sense at all?
Or perhaps I find it that when someone says they love a person, they are far too certain. When you say you love someone, you love what you perceive that person to be - One day that perspective may be proven inaccurate by the actions of your lover. In that case, you should cut off all feelings of love and realize it was misplaced. You put love into perceived traits, in which may have no bearing on the reality.
Not sure why you're mentioning objectivity
again
