It could be argued that the invaders (Britain, mostly) actually made society better for everyone, that includes America, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and most of the colonized states.

So the question is, will the invaders of the lands we have conquered and inhabited promise that same benefit or is it a parasitical relationship?
