it's impossible not to sin

try again

Not unless you realize that the concept of Sin is an illusory, self-imposed restriction on moral and ethic interrelations, and that the emancipation therefrom is one of the keenest forms of realization and insight on the road to self-liberation.

I always love it when people present their opinions as cold, hard fact. :P

Regardless of sin's illusory nature, it still has a pretty clear definition and it is impossible to live life without committing some sort of sin, even if committing a sin doesn't actually bother you or affect you in any way.

I wasn't speaking of the secular definition of sin.

Estrangement from God was the first def when searching for 'sin'. This kind of definition is the kind that is illusory and anchors undue restrictions on too many aspects of human life.

You think it's illusory, but can't prove it either way. Regardless, it is clearly defined and impossible not to do.

Well, it's impossible not to break secular moral guidelines as a definition of sin.

But is it impossible to transgress God's moral codes? This is the part that is hazy. What moral codes did God establish? Etc, etc.

Well, in the Christian idiom - indeed, in the Abrahamic idiom in general - it's impossible to argue anything but 'yes.' Given that seems to be the definition we're working with (since the OP involves Jesus) then I'm going to say that's pretty much a wrap.
