My niece is currently busy writing her phd paper and it centers around the radical american right and where desinformation and the new social media landscape utilizing hate, outrage and - ofc - false facts (they call it post-truth xD) have shaped a new eco-system.
I recall her saying 3 P's are essential there: Populism, Polarization and Post-truth.
I'm sure many have attempted to make sense out of the phenomenon and many social studies have been conducted.
And your eleborations (I know, a big word for such wild nonsense :P ) have been forwarded to her.
I hope you don't mind her using it (not sure if she wants to anyway - but I try to help where I can  )
I think this is great stuff.

Good stuff, ty
By all means, I would be pleased if she read this and wrote about her thoughts. She ought to read it carefully and self-reflect as she is the exact person I am referring to - faux academics, writing cult doctrines seeking the approval of her cult masters for a pat on the head and a faux degree. It's important for you folks in Europe to understand that you have lives of relative comfort, provided for on the back of the US military, who
already occupy your countries. How long do you think you can openly hate them before they withdraw protection? And then, what would the Russian military and populace think of you guys?
