definitely predatory, but so are banks and basically government themselves.
i guess the equal opportunity it presents to most people is the freedom part. also, people have access to the internet, they should be able to educate themselves on these things as well. theres very little excuse to say "i didn't know" anymore.
There's a lot of predatory practices out there but that's why you hope the gov't puts in regulations to minimize some of it, not directly engage in it.
I can't give a pass on it just because predatory practices are done elsewhere legally.
I certainly do think people need to do a better job educating themselves before they take part in what is just gambling but I know from experience it's just not the case. While you can't hand hold everyone you can hold your gov'ts representatives to a higher standard.
I also think people should get in the practice of criticising their own party. We appear to be in some state where it's just side vs side rather than this action is good, this is bad, they do more actions or have more stances I agree with than the other guy though so I'm with this party rather than 100% die hard nothing can be done wrong in my party.
Canada doe instance. The liberals have done things I agree with that the Conservatives would never have but the liberals have tilted so far offside on do many issues that I'd now vote conservative but I'd have little issue going between parties depending on stances since it's ever changing. No die harding a single party.
There's just times when you have to call a spade a spade imo. Hell with party alighnment and those coins were some bullshit.
