I think it's a drone test operation being conducted by military. AFAIK, the reports on the drones describe variations in the models. Simulated Drone war games IMO, intercepts of 'foreign' drones with origin vectors off coast.

If so, pretty ballsy of the FED to be this invasive with the public doing a test like this. Not the first time tho.

Perhaps the new Russian ICBM tech the WH downplayed actually expedited some new tech and testing.

Meh.. this is pretty mild vs what the Patriot Act was doing or what people like Snowden revealed they do, which I'm sure still happens but they've gotten better at hiding.

Tbh military/contingency hardware testing for whatever reason IMO is not that big of a deal. I would expect it to happen regularly. I think there's a lot of noise around what this truly is and people are too eager to go down rabbit holes about dirty bombs or foreign actors or whatever else.

Sure, but Snowden revealed something discrete and non obvious. Average American seeing drones the size of SUVs are blatantly obvious.

This might be why the public is not told why. Unaccounted nuclear material could cause a panic.

USA population: ~331 million
registered drones in usa: ~1,000,000
which means ~1/331 americans own a registered drone (this doesnt include smaller, unregistered drones)

NJ Population: 9.3 million
9,300,000/331 = about 28,000

We don't know exactly where all these registered drones are located in the U.S.....so just throw some numbers out there and say there could be anywhere between 5,000-50,000 registered drones in new jersey (not including unregistered drones)

Ever think it could be hobbyists? Is it too crazy to believe (especially since the tinfoil hatters are freaking out) that hobbyists could be flying them more regularly for shits and giggles?

...Or is it more reasonable to believe it has to be some secret conspiracy?
