what astounds me is you cant name these corporations

Virtually all of them, what part are you struggling with here?
Prices went up across the board, you think I will just be like "yeah it was walmart"?
Coles and woolworths in my country have a duopoly so it's easy to point to them, in America it's a lot more broad.

i just think its kinda funny you keep talking about corporations generally but cant name any

you would think if its such a common problem naming 5 or 6 would be quite easy...

you are right tho it is alot more broad here in america, thats due to inflation not corporate greed, its because the price of energy is up simply and it cost more to transport goods thus lead to price increases...

you become energy dominate and the prices all around will start to drop

Yes, we should repeal term limits. Trump won't benefit, he's too old, but it's a necessary step.

Yeah inflated costs made Walmart so much money that they gave 6 BILLION dollars back to shareholders in the last financial year, do you even have any idea what you are talking about?

We can literally look at data..
Inflation rate 21% groceries up 26%..
Where did that other 5% go?

dude Walmart has over 10,000 stores i would hope they are giving ATLEAST 6 BILLION DOLLARS back to shareholders...

they have over 2 million employees and over 10,000 stores... have you considered that 5% went to paying for raises/salaries/upkeep and cost of the store due to INFLATION?

just curious then

why did the price of housing increase? walmart doesnt sell houses

why did the price of internet increase? walmart doesnt provide that service yet

why did lumber go up (hopefully you can answer this one since its directly related to russia)

Why did electricity go up?

why did gas go up?

WHY HAS EVERYTHING GONE UP... AND DONT GIVE ME THIS BULLSHIT SAYING CORPORATIONS DERP DERP DERP... thats not what it is

So they both desperately needed to raise prices to cover costs whilst simultaneously making so much money they gave it away..
Listen to yourself..

CORPORATIONS ARE THE REASON, you think that the supply chain issues caused all of these increases because you are a corporate simp, I have said a dozen times that the data says profit gouging is happening, my own government says it is happening, economists say it is happening.. but hey this guy on jsp must be right corporations would never try to benefit from a crises like ukraine.. or covid..
Did you know in Australia alone we went from 33 to 66 billionaires under covid?
Must have been increased costs..
Genius.

I voted no, but I'm just wondering... If he is the president, controls the house, controls the senate and also the supreme court, can he do this?

I think that's actually kind of dangerous as well eventhough I'm happy to see all the developments in the US.
But I'm guessing that's why most people here, a forum mostly leaning right, still voted no.
