I've already read the bill. Please, enlighten me with what issue you have with it, aside from cult leader orange man saying not to pass it because it will make him look, well even worse than he already does.

The bill drafted by the Senate wouldn't actually do anything to solve the problem while making things worse in a lot of ways. Here are some noteworthy details from the Senate bill:

The bill increases the volume of legal immigration per year. It normalizes a number of 5000 illegal border crossing per day/1.8million illegals per year by saying "extraordinary action is only necessary if numbers surpass this threshold". The authority to crack down on the border which gets triggered above this treshold can be waived by the president at any time. And it's limited to a certain number of days per year. A cap which also decreases every year. And the bill gives the DoH the ability to outright grant asylum status without judicial review or cap - a status which enables full access to welfare and government payments and sets the migrants on a pathway toward citizenship. And the bill makes the liberal-leaning DC circuit court the only court in which this bill can be litigated. And a significant chunk of the funding that this bill allocates for "border security" would actually go to federally funded lawyers for the asylum seekers, lmfao.

As long as a Democrat is president and pro-open-border figures run the administration, this bill makes the situation outright worse than the status quo. If a Republican is in the WH, he is only granted additional powers to secure the border once an absurdly high volume of illegal entries is exceeded. Powers which he can only use for a limited number of days. And the DC court, which is full of pro-swamp, pro-migration bureaucrats, can kneecap him with ease.

All in all, this bill does more to institutionalize the current status quo at the border than to change it. And it gives future Democratic administrations the power to increase the the immigration numbers even further while kneecapping future Republican presidents who want to crack down on the border.

Just build the fucking wall lads. It will make crossing impossible for some and act as a deterrent for others, so border agents can direct their efforts to those crossing by road, air, and sea.

Mass illegal immigration + mass deportation being politically divisive and having bad optics + 14th amendment = inshallah and pray

the left wants these spineless cowards to enter America for it's protection and strength.

These spinless pieces of shit who enter America illegally, are fleeing from their own problems.

They think that by fleeing to another country, their spineless cowardly actions won't follow them.

Instead they should face their problems head on and correct the wrongs of the land they come from,..

But instead they flee like spineless coward scum to a strong country that will defend them from their own failures.

What do you make of Nigel Farage saying he doesn't want to do deportations? Is he just a coward who fears Starmer will lock him up?

Meanwhile in Canada, after letting literally millions in, resulting in home prices exploding higher and wages being suppressed, Fidel's bastard is finally going to do something about it. 10% is kind of a joke though at this point. It's the equivalent of bragging about inflation being finally down to 2.5% when prices on everything is up 40% in the last 4 years.

(Bloomberg) — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government is taking more steps to reduce immigration in a country that has buckled under the strain of explosive population growth.

Canada will bring in even fewer foreign students next year after already reducing 2024 visa issuance, and further cut back on the number of foreign workers and master’s degree students whose spouses are able to apply for a work permit, Immigration Minister Marc Miller said Wednesday in Ottawa.

For 2025, the intake cap of international students will decrease by 10% from this year’s levels, and that limit will be maintained through 2026. That represents a 36% decline from the 2023 numbers. However, Universities Canada has warned the country is currently on track to undershoot this year’s target as fewer foreign students are applying.

That's far-left immigration policy in a nutshell: "there is no illegal immigration if we just make all immigration legal."

If you have a system for governance, but no border, do you have a nation at all? I feel like those that unwittingly support the uniparty mantra of unfettered immigration are being fed a line, and have lost sight of the bigger picture. Regardless of how anyone feels about all of this, it actuates only in a single direction. A nations values are held by the people, and that is under attack at every turn, by billionares, for billionares. Those same billionares that specifically and openly support eugenics. (admitting that they think the world is overpopulated in interviews, etc.)

Basically what I'm trying to say here is if you identify as a critical theory supporter who supports open borders, you're on team billionares... Yeah, the "bad guys". Also, I find it painful that the same people who said "never again" on Twitter, are openly hating Israel on X, and some even wish death on Israelis. Regardless of how you feel if you support Hamas, that's so ironic it hurts me physically.

Let's bring it back to basics of free thought, and free our minds from this opression, this authoritarian machination dressed in a clean suit, using pretty words. Wake up, and be free, or be a sheep stuck in the Matrix. Do the hard thing, and take the Red Pill. Defend this Republic, and I don't mean become a Republican party member, I mean become self aware.

He's just trying to appear moderate to garner more support and pitch Reform as a credible alternative to the Conservatives.
