also I wouldn't hold jagmeet in particular responsible for any of this since the ndp haven't held power for a long time
it largely comes down to successive liberal and conserative governments that have turned a blind eye to the abuse of the process for coming to canada as a temporary visitor then finding ways to stay permanantly
