Well, that finish was pretty rough. Biden was completely out of it. On the other hand, Trump was rambling most of the night, it's amazing to me they can't find him a debate coach.

Biden looked & sounded fairly awful. A lot of his “answers” weren’t even coherent.

The number one thing that’s being judged right now is Bidens mental acuity/cognitive capacity . Really. The content of these polished responses on the questions that both knew would get with literal teams prepping them for weeks is secondary.

Biden didn’t crash and burn but it’s obvious he lost a step, and he’s constantly losing his train of thought. Several times cnn anchors came in with the saves to cut off the ramblings.

In addition, Biden numerous times ended his responses early and the cnn anchors had to ask him if he had more to say.

Jfc, even the pundits on CNN itself are openly throwing Biden under the bus.
"If you love Joe Biden, how can you put him out there?"
"It was Biden's team which asked for this debate. They wanted it. And this is what we got?!"

Imho, the decision has already been made that they'll switch him out. All the media talking points are actively burying him and laying the groundwork for him to "voluntarily" step aside.

Now another pundit is brazenly saying "if you guys [Dems] have a change at the top of the ticket, the other side [Reps] will be in big trouble", followed by something to the gist of "Trump sucks and is eminently beatable for a Dem nominee who's actually alive."

Who could beat Trump aside from Biden though? There is nobody.... The democrats that have leadership are on their last decade.

I don't know if that's the case, though. You switch him out for who? Candidates don't grown on trees, it's either Kamala, Newson, or Michelle. There won't be another debate. Will Hollywood Newson / Michelle win? Kamala is polling worse than Biden.
