I genuinely think the people that were bamboozled the first time are experiencing some sort of subconscious cognitive dissonance. It’s a defensive mechanism. Kind of like a trauma victim not understanding or recollecting what happened to them.
To them, being fooled is out of the question, their pride can’t allow it so they refuse to believe their lying eyes. They refuse to see how so much of the evidence was oppo research, at this point proven without a doubt. It’s a sad spectacle.
It truly is a medical condition, so we shouldn't be too hard on them. TDS really is the most accurate over-arching description of the phenomenon. It's a psychological delusion/disorder that has its roots in pure hatred, which is one of the most powerful emotions we possess as humans.
