Fandom of human progress serving as my compass instead of getting emotionally unstable and judging someone because he's now perceived as a political enemy. If his tech helps both people and the environment, which undoubtedly it does I chose to focus on that instead of focusing on politically motivated peripherals.

I don't know others view on him, I read his history from his childhood forward and made my own conclusion, that he is a piece of shit. What is so damn difficult, you're just down the woke pipeline these days. Must be because American is so divided right now, no one can actually think without politics flooding their mind.

And I continue to hold a view that idolizing people who will exploit, lie, cheat, commit fraud, are not those we should be holding up and worshipping. Change can be made without those things as well.

The more we continue to worship without question, without consideration, without thought, only perpetuates.

Elon hate is a #current thing, as I said, really bubbling into existence in the last number of years. For the vast majority of his life he was just a tech geek, apolitical, with no one really trying to drag him down because of family history or whatever.

Great, I can only see it as a net positive that more people are actually paying attention about how someone came to be rather than just worshipping successes.

I can only see how that's a good thing. Who knows, we might make positive progress where the next people in line won't be horrible people. That sounds great.

To be honest, you sound like someone who will just pick the side of anyone that you think is being targeted by a woke crowd and that's probably American politics at play that we just don't have warping your mind to always think you have to pick a side. Brainwashed.

No side, just feel passionate about objective progress and people bringing that progress being bashed based on #current thing garbage.

I know liberals that are some of the loudest proponents of environmentalism/anti oil. Will have all the public displays, Patagonia's, bumper stickers till kingdom come, vegetarian, and so on. And then they will immediately say how much they can't stand Elon and won't buy a Tesla and continue to drive their gas SUV. And it's not a money thing, these are people that haven been making 6 figures for years. Absolute frauds honestly, with some really weird virtue signaling hierarchies.
