If these chemicals permanently halt the normal development of the sexual organs, then the end result is that the child undergoing this "treatment" will become infertile. So he would be effectively sterilized.



If a child is considering suicide because he cannot transition, it sounds like a mental health issue. He needs someone to talk to him so that he will accept the body and gender that he is born into.

Ok I am no endocrinologist, however, I believe that puberty blockers sometimes do cause permanent changes. For example they might hasten or otherwise alter the normal puberty process such that a boy that could have grown to be 6 foot 2 is now only 5 foot 7. And the ends of his bones will fuse towards the end, and it doesn't matter if they try to reverse the course of these blockers, he cannot grow tall again and this would be permanent.
