Mistranslation of Hebrew. Your view is a common misconception - the commandment is "Do not murder". Killing is often just, i.e. in war.

kill/murder/whatever you want to call it, its the same thing. God's law > our laws, just because he's not in prison doesnt mean he will escape God's judgment. dont they teach you this in bible school?

We are taught that you are allowed to kill to protect your own life, or the lives of others. It was an unfortunate night for those men to try a lynching.

Cannon literally stopped the Trump lawyers and told them not to argue the politicization of the case but to argue the legal merits and if they do that they may have a better chance of getting what they wanted

she said this in plain court

Quote
Referring to the intense publicity the case would attract, Cannon asked Kise: “won’t that just continue” after the election? She told Kise to focus his arguments on the other reasons why the trial should not be expedited, such as the legal issues the case might prompt or the complexities of handling the classified info.

Leaving the courtroom Tuesday, Trump’s lawyers declined to answer questions about his target letter from Smith as part of the investigation into the 2020 election aftermath, or questions about Tuesday’s hearing in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case.

you live ina third world country thats why you were taught to just kill people

PRetty much every other first world country doesnt have an NRA feeding money to the activists to ensure that plebs like you think its okay and truly believe you have been taught to think its okay that 'you are allowed to kill'

your argument is "I live ina shithole country with the most prisoners per capita and most murders per capita on the planet, and thats what I have been taught is okay'

That depends entirely on whether or not the country sees the prosecution as political. Merrick Garland isn't doing such a great job.

In Biden v Trump polls, Trump's share of the vote is consistently larger than the share of the electorate which identifies as Republican. Isn't that proof that the Lincoln Project is a non-entity?

Let me explain something to you. if 100 idiots say something is political, it means nothing. They are idiots. So when you say 'the country sees the prosecution as political' what are you really saying is 'that depends entirely on the country being complete fucking morons'

He travelled to Kenosha in response to a call for help from those in the community, who were suffering from widespread looting, arson, and vandalism.

Your argument is that Rittenhouse must allow himself to by lynched because he made the decision to go to Kenosha. But it should be obvious that going to a place you're legally allowed to be is not license for someone else to try and kill you.

He had no business going there but at the same time anyone who decides attacking a visably armed individual is a good idea when that individual isn't actually shooting people is going to have a bad time when the courts make a ruling and I have 0 sympathy for them.

Your argument is that someone's life cannot be in danger unless people have died. That's a nonsensical thing to say, and certainly isn't true legally or morally.

This is a surreal conversation, because obviously the entire thing was recorded, and we know with certainty how the entire ordeal played out. Rittenhouse consistently retreated in the face of aggression, and only fired when necessary to protect his own life. The prosecution's own witness admitted on stand that he had a gun pointed at Rittenhouse before he too was shot.

Rittenhouse lived 20 miles away, and Kenosha was right next door. As someone who grew up on the border of a state, "crossing state lines" is obviously a thing you do regularly for something as simple as getting gas or picking up groceries. Population centers rarely obey little squiggly lines on a map. What makes it an especially odd non-sequitur, though, is that travelling across state lines is obviously very legal. Rittenhouse had but a short ride to go to Kenosha, but even had he travelled a great deal, it obviously wouldn't be considered cause to kill him. It's a particularly bad argument that unfortunately got pushed around in the immediate aftermath, but you need to try and be better than that.
