I don't see how you can equate that with what I said. It's known that physical traits don't cause mental/psychological traits. So when people say melanin causes criminality, and you want to ignore them, I can understand that. However allele frequency is a concept recognized in the scientific community, and it is observed in animals, and humans are animals. So to say that the principle of allele frequency might apply to human populations too isn't an absurd position. And if you dismiss something like that right out of hand without giving it due consideration, then yes, you are being closeminded.



I think it's mostly financially motivated crimes such as theft. There are crimes that are not influenced by poverty, such as those committed by serial killers who are not impoverished. Also, personally I don't believe that poverty causes crime and certainly not violence. It's more like poverty occurs concurrently with those things. People who are prone to crime or violence are such way that they are also poor.

you're confused. im not saying allele frequency CANT have a causal effect on violence/criminality. i'm saying i'll take it seriously once there's solid evidence of it.

Well that's fair. I just think that there could be social pressure on scientists who try to find out about this. Because the result could be "racist".

I dont disagree with that, there are a lot of taboo subjects in science.

You will also find the vast majority of serial killers are white.

I am talking about real serial killers with no gang motive.
Throw in sliding on opps and it comes back to poverty as a factor.

I don't see how poverty is a factor in the kind of crimes we are talking about. A lot of serial killers are normal in terms of their financial status.
