What would be the Christian interpretation of how to make sense about the discovery/encounter of other non-human intelligent, extraterrestrial life in the universe?

I have no idea - if such a discovery happens, it would be a huge theological topic, and people will have different interpretations - schisms would likely form.

Calling somebody weak and using it as an excuse to prosthelytize is indeed rude and hostile.

This is the real problem you have. Weakness, cowardice, whatever you want to call it it manifests as the need to hide from reality.

It's a good question, in my view nothing changes, God's moral code is universal and would apply to all sentient life, now specifics also would depend on the lifeform itself, e.g. animals are sentient life but are not made in the image of God like humans are

I do believe there is life outside our solar system, although I also believe it is moot because I don't believe we will ever have the capacity for interstellar travel

in a debate forum using words like "cringe" or "beta" are objectively weak. they're just used to avoid arguments without a counterargument. if u pulled that on a debate stage you'd get zero points for your weak effort.
