I don't think so. Human behaviour is different. I'm not going to bother sifting through studies, but I'm sure after COVID they exist to support that humans interact differently. Tone, body language, actual attention given, its all completely different. You could have the same commanding person giving the same speech on screen but its going to feel entirely different in person. Half the people probably have a second or third monitor up at this point.

When I say "skill issue" I mean it's your lack of skill that makes you unable to overcome those obstacles. Get better.
