Saw this recently as well. The good thing though is that it doesn't paint the full picture. The assets less the uninsured liabilities at the banks are in the range of 10's of billions, not hundreds, and (so far) there isn't a systemic contagion like the mortgage backed securities were.

So... it looks bad, but it's not as bad as 2008 still.

i tend to agree, at least for 1-2 more rise/fall phases until it finds more separate use cases and adoption.

So far there's no real use case for crypto outside of extremely niche cases like extending game inventories.

Even Eths proof of stake is flawed enough to not be useful even though it's a big improvement over proof of work
