You aren't "taking what politicians say with a grain of salt", you're selectively interpreting what one specific politician says in a way that is more favorable to your cause.

Imho, the plan was always to muddy the waters enough so that he can lose the election while saving face with his base and while protecting his nimbus as a "winner".

He conceded as soon as Georgia and Michigan votes were certified, so why is that so outrageous? I mean we knew for months before the election that it might take us weeks to know who won and that's exactly what happened when the dust settled. Trump tried to convince the Michigan GOP to appoint electors for him anyway. That's an incredible conflict of interest and wars have been started over less. I don't know what 3rd world shithole you crawled out of, but that's extremely fucked up here in the states.
