A pedophile is somebody who is sexually attracted to kids.

Doesn't mean they have ever abused a child.

What do you mean? I've never advocated locking people up for MeToo and such.

We all have to navigate society. Sometimes that means not doing something that's perfectly legal just to avoid getting punched. That's just life bro. No need to be a snowflake about it.

Maybe having a confidential private discussion with psychiatrist to work through mental problems is fine but having child related including anime/cartoon prn isn't.

I don't think anybody can argue that if someone is sexually attracted to children, that something is very, very wrong with them, regardless of whether or not they have acted on the thoughts.

I think a big part of the problem is that the radical left would normalize these thought patterns, labeling child predators as simply being "minor attracted persons."

Can you imagine that? A government handing over foster kids to pedophiles on the advice of a "sexologist."

In a sane world, something like this would never happen. But we don't live in a sane world and if it happened before, it could happen again.

You can have an article that is correct on the substance, but still framed in a way that conveys a horribly misguided message. Publishing a series of articles that make it sound, at least in the headline and abstract, like pedophiles are these misunderstood poor creatures and society is doing them dirty is never a good idea. Publishing it ahead of the human traffiicing awareness day is completely and utterly tone-deaf, so much so that it raises the question if this ignorance is intentional and part of an agenda.

USA Today is making it really damn hard to stick by Hanlon's razor...

I think Hanlon’s razors existence just encouages people to be malicious while pretending not to notice. I dont think intent should matter in criminal trials.
