They definitely are guilty of it in the past. I care about the present though, and in the present, free speech is under attack by the left much more so than by the right.


Fyi: I'm not a lifelong conservative or GOP-supporter or anything like that - I loathed GWB and as recently as the 2012 election, I was (tacitly) rooting for Obama over Romney. It were the political events and realignments since 2011 that have brought me to where I politicaly stand today.

You'll note I never said Republicans or Democrats. I said conservatives, which the Democrats of that era were. And it's not like the KKK (who were behind the vast majority of those lynchings) back the modern Democratic party anyway.
