Strange that pretty much all of Western Europe was able to reach similar levels of wealth, productivity and standard of living without relying on slavery. As did Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. It's almost as if slavery was not as integral to the wealth of the United States as lefties make it out to be.
