I know, that's some hardcore shit right there.

Granted, he paid for it with his life, but hot damn! Talk about going out feeling no pain.

In Oregon, Governor Kate Brown extended her executive order until July. A Salon owner in Salem attempted to reopen, while utilizing proper safety measures (masks, gloves, etc.) to insure both worker safety and client safety. Workers had received no unemployment. Food on the table was itself becoming an issue, and the end of the mandated lockdown, prior to the extension, was May 5th. She was fined $14,000 by OSHA, and CPS agents showed up at her home and attempted to question her and her husband regarding potential child abuse, even though no wrong-doing had occurred.

In theory, Oregon is "phase 1" of reopening, which would include Salons, and the executive order is only intended to insure those who can't get back to work right away still receive unemployment insurance. Yet here you have a case where none of the workers of this salon, be it the owner or the employees have received ANY relief, AND they've been levied a $14,000 fine for attempting to reopen on the day they were supposed to be able to, even while following all precautions to insure safety.

Another win for another Progressive state. Fuck private business. Don't put up with their shit. Show them who's boss. Take away their kids too, if you can!

shakes head and wanders off

If people start committing suicide over this, I suspect were going to see some politician murder attempts.

When?

Thousands of Americans kill themselves every day. Also we have seen a lot of covid related psych admissions for many reasons....

People in assisted living or nursing care who are going crazy from the isolation. Developmentally disabled people who have their routines disrupted. BPD people freaking out because they have no distress tolerance and have to social distance.

Its hard to do the right thing, hunker down, and wait. Americans arent used to problems they can't shop their way out of, especially boomers. Now they want to go out and play so bad they just can't take it anymore, and they aren't willing to protect their loved ones anymore.

A lot of Americans are killing themselves to this. Many more are dying from this.

The cases will spike after this past weekend too.

What? Thousands of Americans commit suicide every day? What are you talking about? Average suicides in the US per day is like 123, and that's in a nation with a population of ~330,000,000 people. You aren't simply exaggerating your numbers, you're attempting to make Americans look like the most unstable peoples on the planet. Are you high?

It isn't a case of people being able to "shop their way out" of anything. You understand that the overwhelming majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, and can't manage to retain a home or food on their table by missing a check? You understand that there are many who have received absolutely no unemployment or pay during this lockdown, other than the stimulus check? Their state government actively preventing people from providing for themselves, then refusing to compensate them in such a way as to keep them fed, is absolutely a massive cause for concern. Both for suicide AND violence.

You talk such bullshit.

Edit: Note that it's not possible to collect the $600/week federal unemployment if you are not receiving your state unemployment. The federal payout is to bolster the state payout, to insure unemployment insurance payouts are in line with actual paychecks (though it's more, for those who make under $20/hour). But if you aren't receiving payouts from the state, you are receiving nothing.

Attempt to commit suicide everyday.

Senate is blocking bills to help Americans. They are giving the LA Lakers small business loans.

Correct me if i am wrong but I thought you were Republican so don't act like you care about working Americans lol.

Over 48k suicides last year. Divide that by 365 and you have a daily average Bob. That is an attempt every few minutes at most.

Speaking of bullshit, quit obfuscating arguments with word counts and make a point. I agree with Nietzsche that people using too many words lack an argument. We ran out Pollster for a reason.

Is your argument that Americans should save more? I agree, i have a savings. Yes it sucks to be poor in american so vote Democrat, because theyre the only ones who actually help the poor. The economy would be better right now, and this pandemic would have been handled better.

I don't know why people are so loyal to such a shitty team, the GOP.

First, Republicans at this time are the ONLY party that seems to care about working Americans.

Second, the Bill put in front of the Senate requires that tens of billions be earmarked to help illegals and that SALT tax deduction caps be removed, and dozens of other pro-rich-democrat bullshit occur to pass. That's not a "bill". That's a, "We, the Democratic Party, would like to hold the working people hostage until you make our donors richer, allow us to use tax payers dollars to fund criminals, and increase our state taxes as high as possible while paying no federal tax." You're not only full of shit, you're ignorant.

48K suicides last year, divided by 365 days, means that last year specifically, there were 132 suicides per day. NOT thousands. You can't even do basic division you filthy ingrate, and you seek to cast judgement on 330,000,000 Americans?

And no, I'm not Republican. But thank you for your faulty assumptions, as well as your complete bullshit premise. :)

To address the only consequential portion of your edit: "Paycheck to paycheck" means that "saving" is unrealistic. And voting democrat insures nothing more than that taxes go up and nothing is gained. There is a reason blue states rank #1 for homelessness, unemployment, and crime.

And this lockdown is not a "need for savings". This is the state government actively preventing people from earning their livelihood. Since they're actively preventing it, it's their duty to compensate those who they are causing destitution to. Yet Blue states, such as Oregon (see the article above), are refusing to compensate, and then laying out fines to those who can't go without a job any longer without starving.

You don't know wtf you're talking about.

Do you think all suicide plans are completed successfully? I went back and said attempted and it isn't incorrect.

Republicans don't care about working Americans they pass laws exclusively for the business class and favor managers vs workers when it comes to rights. Do your homework and examine Trump 's numerous executive orders and it demonstrates this.

As of right now the Democratic party shouldn't be working hard to clean up the Trump Virus because if we had good leadership the playbook would have been employed. If Dems were in power it just would not have gotten this bad

Trump fired all of his staff who attended the transitional pandemic training during his transition in for being disloyal.

Trump has made this bed of Covid, trade wars, and recession, and somehow the Republican party managed to elect a stinker worse than George Bush Jr and the same people who reelected that guy are trying to reelect Trump. Hopefully we only have four years of Trumpism to clean up and we can get the economy that had been growing since Obama-Biden saved it going again. Trump gets to run for reelection with a platform of Trump Virus and recession.

And yea, you're describing the faults of capitalism pretty well, which is that it intends for people to fall through systemic cracks and requires a large urban underclass of unemployed to keep wages low. This has been happening before covid, real problems just exacerbate them.

Remember when trump supporters were pretending that the country was on fire during the election? They got their wish.

Literally everything in your post is bullshit. You aren't even trying to argue. You're just tossing nonsense out and hoping it'll stick.

You claimed thousands of Americans kill themselves every day. That was a direct quote. You were wrong. You provided the data to prove yourself wrong, and you can't even admit you were wrong. Shut up, you're an idiot.

You claim Republicans are passing laws that harm workers, but can't provide a single example of such a law. Great job genius! Shut up, you're an idiot.

You're claiming the virus that started in China and has been positively linked to the human consumption of bats, which swept the entire planet is the "Trump Virus". And that Democrats are trying to "clean it up" by demanding tens of billions in funding for criminal aliens and hundreds of billions worth of tax breaks for the richest in Democrat-led states, so they can increase state taxes. Yeah, nice try. Shut up, you're an idiot.

Trump fired 1 person, who's job duties were redundant, and already covered elsewhere. You're not only wrong, you're spouting a so frequently debunked talking point it's stupid. Shut up, you're an idiot.

Your fundamental lack of understanding regarding the entire topic is awe-inspiring. This is the first time in the history of the nation, and one of the few times in the history of the planet that the Healthy were quarantined to protect the sick. It's a gross violation of constitutional rights, and those who's rights are being so actively violated (primarily in blue states) are now finding they can not only not get the compensation for their lost livelihood that they were promised, but it's going to be ANOTHER 2 months before they can even attempt to return to their livelihood. Where in red states like Texas, no big brother democrat came along and said, "Hey, you are unessential, stay home!" and instead, it was life as usual, just wear masks and gloves, and they've done great!

Yeah, you don't give a shit. It's all about power, you don't give a fuck about people.

Talk about going from simple stupid to grand stupid. Capitalism without the overreach of government would never allow for any shutdown ever. It required the force of government to enact the shutdowns, and is requiring it to keep them in place. That's not capitalism. That's socialism. When "You can own your business, you can invest your entire life into the business, but WE determine if and how you can do business, and take the majority of your profits." These aren't "cracks" in the system. These ARE the system of the socialist state.

Any further epic stupid you wish to share, or you done?
