Walker lost by about 1 point but two points went to the libertarian party. I highly doubt any libertarians will vote for warnock.

it assumes everyone shows back up again in equal droves. wouldnt count on it

Well, as of right now, everything from 51-49 to 49-51 is still possible. Republicans have secured 49 Senate seats so far, but the Arizona race is imho clearly leaning to Kelly. The Republican in NV seems in better shape, but he might fall short in the end by the tiniest of margins. And I have a hard time seeing how Walker wins the GA runoffs after having lost the regular race by almost 1% this Tuesday. The Dem machine in Atlanta is really strong and getting the GOP's rural white base to the polls is tough, particularly for an underwhelming candidate like him. So even if Laxalt in NV hangs on, that would only offset the loss in PA and bring us back to 50-50, with Democratic control.

cool thanks

If this seat is the final deciding seat for who controls the senate then you can expect everyone to be voting.

not republican voters in a run off in Georgia. this happened 2 years ago already

that said who knows maybe they do and the libertarians swing mostly to Walker. i just doubt it

At best, you can split the Libertarian vote by a 3:1 ratio in Walker's favoror something like that. Which would put Walker/Warnock at an exact 50:50 going into the runoff, where it's all about turnout and Democrats should have the advantage.

Right, which heavily undermines the 'libertarians are preventing walker from winning!' narrative.
Its literally stopping Warnock from winning on the spot.

Yeah this is where additional problems for the GOP come in.

-The democrats will get to focus their attention on this race only, much like they did in the 2020 GA runoff where the GOP candidate actually had a lead the first time.
Money will pour in and the MSM will tell us all about how Walker hates puppies and rainbows and wants to kill grandma with tax cuts.

-The LP candidate in this race is an openly gay progressive that was lobbing the usual collection of epithets at the majority of Libertarians before the race. Hes not exactly 'stealing' GOP and right wing votes in droves.

I expect it will be more about partisan turnout than a simpler X% of libertarians votes flipping to one candidate or the other.

Some of both sides oppose because it's a federal takeover.

I've only ever heard that Dems think minorities are too stupid to get an ID therefore it's racist. I believe that some loser lolberts might be making the federal takeover argument, but by and large voter ID is a consensus yes on the right wing.

Democrats already sent 7m dollars to Georgia for the runoff, which hasn't even started yet.

Just want to point out something

Right now, Democrats are jumping for joy, reveling in victory, that they'll only be losing the House and not also the Senate. Let's think about this. Why is this a "victory" for Democrats? Because they managed to stave off a red wave despite:

-low approval rating
-high inflation
-high crime
-no control of the border
-mounting covid tyranny resentment
-impending economic doom
-loss of American hegemony (russia/ukraine, brics growing)
-and so much more!

In other words, Democrats being so happy now indicates that they admit how badly they've fucked up the last 2 years. Well, glad you're finally seeing it, even though you're not spelling out explicitly.

How about you start thinking about America winning? I know that sounds cliche/pithy, but, how about it? Because America is generally getting its shit pushed in hard.

I just posted something similar in another thread. They are celebrating a loss because it was supposed to be much worse.
