Interesting trends, but I think any thinking person can deduce the macro issues driving this. The digitization of the world is a huge part of it. People now spend way more time staring at a phone screen, on social media, & the million other distractions that the internet has to offer which is crowding out intimacy.

I think amongst males, access to porn is a huge issue as well. The dopamine high that can be derived from 2 simple clicks is quick and cheap compared to the effort, cost and socialization skills/risks of having to go find/maintain a partner.

There's obviously other reasons but IMO these to me are huge.

The best way to meet quality women is to go to a 4-star hotel bar during happy hour so I wouldn't use tinder anyway, but things look really bad even for a large portion of the honest, productive men today.

The existence of single motherhood is also proof that legalized abortion doesn't work.
