Primarily you'd have to start examining STD reports where names have to be attached. You'd think as a so-called "medical professional" that you'd be beyond this "self reporting" thing.
When it comes down to patients contracting STDs, and being required to contact all partners to inform them, women by far have a far far higher average number of male partners than men have female partners.
And beyond that, men have a far higher number of male partners than women have male partners. AKA, straight men = fewest partners, women = more partners, gay men = most partners.
Now, you can rely on self-reporting all you want. And the 8 out of 10 guys you know who lie and say they've fucked 20 women when they've been with 2... or 0? They impact Pew, CDC, etc.
So, as I said, go on, find your own sources. But before you do, understand, since you want to pick at sources on a daily basis, any form whatsoever of self reporting is invalid. Ready: GO!
