You can look up your own citations. But the #1 risk of pregnancy (high school/college age) the CDC avoids. And that's where women end up with so many additional partners on average. Therefore, since I know you'll pick at any source I provide, I'll leave it to you.

So... where are you getting your information? Because I can't find a single source that says anything close to what you've said.

Primarily you'd have to start examining STD reports where names have to be attached. You'd think as a so-called "medical professional" that you'd be beyond this "self reporting" thing.

When it comes down to patients contracting STDs, and being required to contact all partners to inform them, women by far have a far far higher average number of male partners than men have female partners.

And beyond that, men have a far higher number of male partners than women have male partners. AKA, straight men = fewest partners, women = more partners, gay men = most partners.

Now, you can rely on self-reporting all you want. And the 8 out of 10 guys you know who lie and say they've fucked 20 women when they've been with 2... or 0? They impact Pew, CDC, etc.
