Gemini is a good alternative to Coinbase but it takes weeks to get your account verified. Also GDAX is owned by Coinbase so don't use either.

ltc fee should still be like 0.3% to send

Well the buy fees are fine it's just the send fees for when I want to either purchase something or send it to a new account.



I didn't buy it, Coinbase randomly gave me some for some reason.

I did sign up for Gemini. Just not sure if I want to do that or one of the exchanges that has like every currency.

There's one site you can bet sports with BTC which is intriguing.

You probably held BTC on coinbase during the hard fork, which split your BTC into BTC and BCH

No, the hard fork gave you equal amounts of both.
Let's say you had 10 bitcoins before the fork. After the fork you'd have 10 bitcoins and 10 bitcoin cash.
