Lets check in with the pro-Hamas protesters rallying outside the DNC. Since Chicago decided to go the Kamala Harris route of mass arrests instead of the Tim Walz route of unchecked riots, they haven't been too troublesome. What have they been doing to get attention in the meanwhile?;

Can you really run a substance free "vibes" campaign trying to base your appeal solely on a candidate's artificially generated persona when people dislike her by a wide margin? She polls favorability like Hillary did in 16. Biden gave his preview speech of the upcoming campaign and it was just a recitation of the same dumb personal attacks on Trump as the last two elections. Trump caught the responsibility for covid but Harris is catching the responsibility for the economy. Training her to use 'pokemon substitute' and absolve her of joe biden's sins seems so transparent even the least interested voters see right through it. And the moment she opens her mouth and mentions the economy shes making it so much worse, "price controls", really

Her approval ratings have risen since she announced. I don't think most people have strong opinions of her, and her negative ratings in the past were more based on the negative rating of the administration as a whole, not her personally.

The campaign is working to make her an acceptable choice, when a decent segment of voters hated the choice between Trump and Biden. And her campaign has morphed the attacks on Trump into something smarter: he's not some evil, authoritarian who will never allow elections again, he's a small man with a boring shtick who only cares about himself. That's an easier pill for low-information voters to swallow.

If you had a problem with stupid, gimmicky economic policy talking points, you wouldn't support Trump. Lol.

A strong convention for the Harris/Walz ticket.

The only opinion most people have are based on the lies that's being spammed all over the corporate news. They all go in unison spreading the same lies and building up a ''fake momentum''. Heck it's on the news 24/7 in Canada as well how Kamala is the future of America and all while she haven't done shit the whole time she's been VP. They did the same to promote Trudeau. So i guess the next step for Corporations is to place Kamala at the top and open the south border to flood America like Canada is being flooded to bring the last stage of the great replacement of the middle class. UK/Europe/Canada/Australia is being hammered. America is the last piece of the puzzle. Baffling how people don't see it and instead let their feelings cheer for the FIRST FEMALE BLACK PRESIDENT.

I watched this whole one unlike Trumps. My scorekeeping was how many segments would lay out her policies vs attacking Trump. I wound up 4 policy, 5 attack Trump. Didn't count if she just mentioned an issue with no direction or statement of intent, or if she made a sly attack on Trump without saying his name. But I should have counted how much would be substance free puffery about her background, vapid prose about the american dream and worse kneejerk jingoism trying to pander to warmongers. I'd guess 80% of her speech had no substance. But overall I was actually pleasantly surprised because I expected much worse. She almost said as much about policy as attacking Trump. She didn't seriously stumble or make a big gaffe. She didn't have any cackling moments but she did talk over the audience chanting USA and went an awkward shouty voice on her low blow attack saying Kim Jong Un supports Trump. And of course, even the most inobservant anti-wonk had to be immediately put off when she said Trump would hike taxes with a new federal sales tax without elaborating, which is some of the bullshitiest bullshit to every bullshit its way on a convention stage

In retrospect I tried to remember how much of the RNC was dedicated to Kamala/Biden bashing as opposed to a policy message or forwards looking pro-Trump message. I guess I didn't watch as much but it was very little, maybe the economics. But the DNC speakers before Kamala were almost entirely Trump bashing with no policy pitch and Kamala herself still leaned hard on it and regurgitated some of the TDS lines. Not as bad as Biden did a couple days ago, but still an awful showing for the democratic party

If I expect a bag of flaming turds and get a bowl of boiling piss, should I be relieved or disgusted? Kamala accused Trump of wanting to be an autocrat who throws out elections after she threw out the primary results, tried to have Trump thrown in prison and fought to have his name taken off the ballots so nobody could vote for him.

What happened to the special guest that they said was playing after Kamala's speech?
Did they really just scam all their viewers?

I heard none of the former Republican Presidents or Vice Presidents spoke at the RNC this year, aside from Trump. This true?

There's only three possible people you mention George Bush, Dick Cheney, or Mike Pence, all neocons who hate Trump.
Maybe you should stick to commenting on how lost in the woods you are on transvestites.

What's going on with the Republican party that explains that?
