On one side i'm thinking the firearms issue should not be silenced, on the other it's true that these manifestos can be dangerous but too many have been published already: I would bet some students already made their thesis dissertation over it.

the sad truth about the "firearms issue" in the USA is that even if you pass HARSH legislation on gun control we're looking at 100 years or so before the problem goes away. and no, that's not a typo, we're looking at a 100 year timeline before firearms violence goes away, even if we pass VERY left winged gun control.

I think you are splitting: weapons will immediately be alot harder to get (black market), then:
- Further benefits will appear progressively, availability will decrease progressively
- Ammo Expire faster than barrels.
- I would count first on 1 generation. (25 years) for serious impact.
