I've been arguing that a system like this works in Scandinavia because they're living a more healthy lifestyle compared to the US.

I've posted a source to prove my claim I will do that again cuz you're too retarded to get it the first time https://www.manhattan-institute.org/obamacare-mandate-failed-to-make-health-insurance-more-affordable

Bolded that quote from article so even Seattleites can't miss it this time

LOL
So.. you think having them NOT on any insurance gets rid of the sick and the healthcare costs..
LMAO no wonder.
You ever ask yourself who pays for the ER/Dr visits for the non insured.. I'm sure its some magic $$ fairy.. Ill give you a hint.. YOU do.. unless you don't have a job.

CHAZ, was the most embarrassing moment for any liberal with a brain.
"not serious" but bring it up in every post directed at me.

So do nothing from a healthcare system perspective.. Hope everyone stops eating McD's.. got it.

Even when democrats win they lose.

Thats what weve seen for 20 years now, whoch is why were getting worse

In 2020, Democrats benefitted from the tailwinds of a once-in-a-century health crisis which raised the salience of a good issue for them (healthcare), exposed Trump's flaws, destroyed the great economy which Trump had intended to use as the linchpin of his campaign, prevented him from holding his rallies, gave cover for Biden to not hold rallies and made an expansion of mail and absentee ballots necessary which helped them greatly. There was also a high-profile case of egregious racism which triggered race riots that massively helped them turn out the low propensity minority parts of their coalition and caused an issue to dominate the news cycle for months on which they hold the moral high ground. They nominated the strongest candidate they had at their disposal and ran against an unpopular and historically polarizing opponents who increasingly went off the rails, ran a horrible campaign and fucked up everything he touched during that year. Moreover, the mainstream media and big tech colluded to intervene on their behalf and pull the rug out from under Trump's side.

And what happened in the end? After an election year in which EVERYTHING broke in their favor, did Democrats gain the landslide victory and the mandate for big bold change that they wanted? Hell no. Biden achieved the bare minimum of defeating Trump, but came within just 40k votes of losing the electoral college. Instead of making further gains, their House margin was diminished and became dicey. In state legislatures, they achieved pretty much none of the inroads they had been hoping for. And in the Senate, their majority ended up hinging on a conservative, business-friendly old white dude from a coal-loving Trump+40 state.

What I'm trying to say is that 2020 was not actually a victory for Democrats once we take context into account. Out of maximally favorable circumstances, which we can safely assume to not occur in this constellation again anytime soon, they barely achieved their minimum goal, but failed on every single one of their other goals. The 2020 election set them up for failure, not success.

November, 2020 was a bit disappointing for Democrats given that expectations were sky high, but January was a really good month for them.
