Re: polling, there are more Democrats in this country than Republicans. That's been the case for decades. Like I said, there's been a trend in the last decade where more people are self-identifying as "Independent," but much of that growth is being caused by frustrated/embarrassed Republicans choosing to self-ID as Indy instead. Either way: top-shelf polling firms like ABC/WaPo don’t weigh by party ID because it’s a fluid.

I vote for that option too. Scott Brown's never accomplished anything for anybody; interestingly enough I think he's the only person in American history who has lost 2 Senate elections in 2 different states to 2 women. Says a lot about how few women we've had in the Senate, and I guess it also says that he picked the wrong place to try to carpetbag to.

I've been hoping that he'll pick Christie or Newt but I don't know if the Democrats could ever get so lucky. I gave up a long time ago that he'd actually be dumb enough to pick Carson.
