While I think that he definitely deserved to be acquitted, and while I disagree with the claims that Rittenhouse was a white supremacist or that this case shows structural inequalities or systemic racism, there is one sentiment I definitely agree with: Rittenhouse was a privileged boy who had no business running around Kenosha with an AR-15. He might have been legally entitled to do so, but it was reckless and asking for trouble. It was so clear that nothing good could come from a 17-year old boy with puffy cheeks going into a warzone trying to play a hero.
how can you say nothing good came out of it? a pedophile and a wife beater are no more.
