you are underestimating Israeli efficiency, this is not a special military operation, it is a war. I tend to agree with you here though, i just think the point to which you refer will be sooner rather then later. ( i really dont mind being wrong here ).

Well, perhaps they want to see Israeli's efficiency in wiping out the Hamas and pushing out the Gazans as soon as possible.

I was having a short night out session discussing it on the side with one of my Jewish Banker mate.
He said this to me in regards to Israel and he is actually worried.

"For Israel, the more they win and that have to included mass casualties but at the same time wiping out Hamas and getting rid of the Gazans, the more they lose in the end.
For USA, the more Israel wins, in the short term it is good for domestic politics since next year is election year. But it may well be an Achilles heel for USA in the long run.

And with this statement, he told me most of the neighboring Muslim countries will do all the condemning and threaten actions etc etc etc. But they won't do anything at least for now. "

That is what he say. I am still thinking about what he really meant.

Turkey is constantly moving its goods in trucks threw israel into Jordan. That still happens despite of Erdogan’s declarations.
Erdogan’s base is the Muslim brotherhood so he has to be aggressive in his response.. when all is done in Gaza he will come back to do business with the Jews..

They are busy oppressing the Kurds. A version of appartheid that doesn't get brought up in many conversations.

You have to ask first, what could Turkey possibly gain from a war with Israel.

I think if Israel can and could, they will move the Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip and somehow make them settle in the Sinai Peninsula.
But that is just what I think. A two state solution is really not viable from what I see.

But that is just my opinion.

I think if they report this properly, and consistently, in the media, it will do Israel alot of good public relations (what they need right now in my opinion).
