What is it with the average conservative and not respecting guns? He needlessly threatened somebody with deadly force and they responded. There is no way you can be trusted with a gun if you can't see that because you don't respect your weapon.

The gun didn't even need to be brought out. The guy wasn't threatening his ex with any harm. There was no immediate danger to her. Carruth needlessly escalated the situation by getting the gun.

At least libertarians respect guns. That's at least one thing they have over Republicans.

The only people who really respect freedom are left-libertarians. The original libertarians that American conservatives stole the title from. Property is inherently contradictory to freedom.
