I think this is what Bill Maher was talking about when people announce their privilege so publicly and conspicuously it just sounds like bragging
Does this mean that if a gay black guy in a wheelchair develops a critical piece of software, he isn't allowed to give a presentation on it without first publicly announcing to the audience that he loves to suck cocks but can't get on his knees to do it?

I just ignore this sort of thing. It goes in one ear and out the other.

You get all hot and bothered about the weirdest things.

I was raised to treat everyone as my own brother.. regardless of skin tone, nationality, race, sexual orientation, economic situation, etc. As in 'who cares how white brown dark you are' is your character and how you behave worth my respect. Are you an honorable person with decent values/principles? Yet I fail to see where the 'progress' lies in this 'progressive' way of thinking. Am I any better or worse for announcing these irrelevant characteristics of my body? Why would someone judge me differently by announcing these things? And if they do, isn't that wrong?
