Stereotypes of African Americans tend to be focused on Tyrones and Shaniquas rather than on those who could be described as "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy".

My understanding is that anti-immigrant sentiment is across the board, directed towards entire groups (often along racial lines). The ones with higher qualifications are even worse, cause they will take high-paying jobs from natives.
