Again, based on most statistics I have looked at, men have more sexual partners over a lifetime than women. If you're just looking to fuck any piece of meat, you're going to swipe right on everything that breathes. If you're on tinder presumably you're using it for sex and a person actively having sex so you're likely not included in that statistic of declining sex. Women will naturally match more if men are swiping right on everything that breathes.

Interesting trends, but I think any thinking person can deduce the macro issues driving this. The digitization of the world is a huge part of it. People now spend way more time staring at a phone screen, on social media, & the million other distractions that the internet has to offer which is crowding out intimacy.

I think amongst males, access to porn is a huge issue as well. The dopamine high that can be derived from 2 simple clicks is quick and cheap compared to the effort, cost and socialization skills/risks of having to go find/maintain a partner.

There's obviously other reasons but IMO these to me are huge.

This doesn't account for the number of people active on the app and the number of women who are just bots spamming advertisements. If there's 10x more men than women then those numbers make perfect sense.

Women raise their amount of partners by 100% when you threaten them with a polygraph in surveys.

Why would they consistently lie in anonymous surveys. They're not trying to have a relationship with the surveyor.
